Recently attended a wedding this weekend, lots of pictures but the one highlight (besides the actual wedding) I did karaoke.  I should have video soon, but it is of me doing my best Belushi impression and one of my favorite songs.    I should have the video up when my brother sends it to me, there might be more video of my dancing like a fool at their reception.

Update: So its only affecting PAL territories, once again America is the best.

So I read on Kotaku today that Ghostbusters for every platform except the PS3/PS2 might be in some kind of trouble.  Since Sony owns the property rights to Ghostbusters on film they have decided to buy the rights to publish the game, but only the PS3 and the PS2 version. Sony is still planning on releasing the game to coincide with the Blu-Ray release of the movie but it might only be the Playstation versions. While this means I’ll still be able to play my Ghostbusters game on June 19th since I do own a PS3, everyone else though (and thats a large demographic) will be waiting.

When given the chance to make a list of 10 celebrities that you would like to meet, who would they be? Do you think that they would live to to the image inside of your head? What would you want to say to them? Well folks here is the first half of my top 10 list of celebrities that I would like to meet.  Come by later this week to see the end!

10. Clint Eastwood: clint_eastwood_present The man embodies what badass meant to be in cinema during the 70’s and 80’s. From being a cowboy to a cop that breaks all the rules or a crotchy old man that learns from his past mistakes he has cemented himself into the hearts of all cinema-goers. I can only assume that he is a man of few words but would gladly give any fan the time of day.

9.sean_connery_as_bond Sean Connery: Not only was he James Bond, and quite possibly the best one at that, but he is Henry Jones.  From a career that started in the mid 50’s he has had the honor of being one of the most recognisable names in movie history.   I haven’t heard much about his personal life, besides that he does believe in the rule of thumb , but I don’t expect that he would be as nice as my previous entry.  He has a brash Scottish attitude in everything that I have seen him in, and the fact that everyone treats him as if he was king of the world might go a little to his head.  I would still go out of my way to meet him at least once, I could be wrong but I don’t think I will ever be able to prove that.

richarddonner8. Richard Donner: You might not recognize the face but you will undoubtedly recognize the movies.  He is without a doubt the reason why we have superhero films today, without Richar d Donner giving Superman a realistic tone and feel we would be left with Adam West and his campy Batman.  From all the interveiws that I have read and seen about Richard Donner he seems to be one of the most down to earth people and it would be a honor to meet him.  Again this is another celebrity that I highly doubt I will ever have the chance to meet, but then again I never thought I would meet the next celebrity on the list.

danaykroyd57. Dan Aykroyd: Dan Aykroyd started off as a original cast member of SNL and after launching to career superstar with The Blues Brothers movie he captivated the world with the mega-blockbuster Ghostbusters.  Many people don’t actually know that Ghostbusters was his idea and that he co-wrote both Ghostbusters films.  I have actually had the pleasure of meeting Dan Aykroyd in which he was oddly enough promoting his vodka Crystal Head and his wine at a ABC Liquor store.  I can say that his on-screen presence of a likeable every-man is exactly what he is.  After arriving a few minutes late  he came storming in yelling out greetings and joking around.  When it was my turn to meet Dan Aykroyd I was so excited that I could only say “You are my hero” in which he smiled signed my Ghostbusters poster and wine bottle and stated how much I’m going to love the new Ghostbusters game coming out.  While it was a brief meet and greet I met one of my childhood heroes, it is a moment that will stay with me for my entire life.

england6.Robert Englund: He scared us for over a decade starting with Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street, and while many actors try to ditch and hide from what makes them famous Robert Englund seems to embrace it.  While this is his most notable film he has starred in other horror films such as Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon and Zombie Strippers.  I have yet to meet Robert Englund but a few of my friends have and say that he is the polar opposite of his on-screen presence as Freddy.  I’ve been told that he absolutely loves his fans and understands the impact that he has made on horror fans around the world.  The odds of me meeting Robert Englund are quite high as he does film conventions, so here’s hoping I will get my chance soon!
